Vitamin C Amla BIO
BIO Amla 100% natural + watercress
Vegetable vitamin C from amla, contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system
Amla or Indian gooseberry is a shrubby tree whose yellow-green fruits are used in Ayurveda, the Indian traditional health care system. According to ancient Indian tradition, amla is said to have been the very first tree on earth. The fruits are traditionally used to support digestion. They are also a source of vitamin C.
When do we need vitamin C?
We cannot produce vitamin C ourselves. So we must get enough of it every day, at least 80 to 100 mg. Are you over 50, are you pregnant, do you exercise very intensively, are you in a stressful period, are you tired, do you eat one-sidedly, do you drink a lot of alcohol, do you smoke or is the air quality less good (particulate matter, ozone)… then you may need more vitamin C.
Vitamin C helps your natural defenses
Do you know which processes in our body use vitamin C? There are quite a few. Vitamin C plays a role in the normal production of collagen to keep our skin, blood vessels, cartilage, bones, teeth and gums healthy. Furthermore, vitamin C helps reduce fatigue and maintain the proper functioning of the nervous system. And last but not least: vitamin C plays an undeniable role in the normal functioning of the immune system.
